Who are you?
Artist Andrea Bonadiman, has always been quite intrigued by nature. Following that passion, she went to college for Natural Resources and Wildlife Management. Incorporating both her love for the outdoors and science. Andrea has created art from the time she was a small child. Bringing art and her academic education together, spawned the foundation for Bonadimani ART.
Being raised in the Pacific Northwest, primarily in a small corner of Eastern Oregon, the flora and fauna of the natural world has always been wildly inspiring. From small insects to the sheer size of a Grizzly paw. Along with the natural aspects of life, Native American Culture and art always struck a heartstring for Andrea. Falling deeply in love with the Native Americans core respect for the Earth, she has spent many years researching the different art of tribes, specifically those in the Pacific Northwest. Her earlier work, shows many inspirations from the P.N.W. tribes. Bonadiman has loved to teach others about her art, from the wildlife it features to the design work and why it was used.
Bonadiman recently graduated from Oregon State University with a degree in Digital Art Communications & Graphic Design - Cum Laude. Though her life required some changes in her major, the core values of inspiration still hold strong. These themes are still evident within the creations of digital art as well.
Currently, Bonadiman is a freelance artist & campaign coordinator for Friends of the Owyhee. The position is funded by the Wyss Foundation, making Bonadiman a first-year Wyss Fellow. Combining art, and love for the land, being able to intertwine them towards a profession of purpose is wildly rewarding.
*Freelance web design, graphic design, and logos are also, still something Bonadiman, creates for clients.
